In terms of governance and management, WORLD is overseen by its Board of Directors (BoDs), which is the primary policymaking body of the organization. The BoDs work independently and formulate policies and organizational systems. They evaluate WORLD’s overall performance regularly and are empowered to hold emergency meetings when immediate decisions are needed to mitigate risks and threats. The Board comprises five members, including both men and women, and is headed by the Director General.
The Managing Director leads all operations at WORLD and seeks necessary guidance from the BoDs, implementing their decisions in line with the organization’s objectives. The Managing Director is supported by a team of program managers, coordinators, associates, and assistant program managers, along with project coordinators from various departments and programs. Together, they form the organizational management structure, ensuring the effective implementation of programs and initiatives.
