The World Health Organization (WHO), founded in 1948 and headquartered in Geneva, is the UN’s specialized agency for global public health. It coordinates international responses to epidemics, sets health standards, and supports countries in strengthening health systems.
UNICEF
UNICEF works in over 190 countries to protect children’s rights, provide education, health, nutrition, and emergency relief. Established in 1946, it is the world’s largest provider of vaccines and a leading advocate for children’s welfare.
WFP
The World Food Programme (WFP), founded in 1961 and based in Rome, is the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger. It delivers emergency food aid and supports resilience-building programs to achieve “Zero Hunger.”
Save the Children US

World Bank
The World Bank Group, founded in 1944, is the largest source of financial assistance to developing countries. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., it funds projects in infrastructure, health, education, and poverty reduction.
UN Women
UN Women, created in 2010, is the UN agency dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment. It advocates for women’s rights, supports programs against violence, and promotes leadership and economic participation.
HR Commission
The UN Human Rights Commission, established in 2008, is an intergovernmental body of 47 member states. It addresses human rights violations, holds special sessions, and provides recommendations to strengthen global human rights protections.
MAIL Afghanistan
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) oversees Afghanistan’s agricultural policy, irrigation systems, and livestock development. It supports farmers, manages natural resources, and promotes modern farming practices.
MoPH Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) manages Afghanistan’s health sector, implementing the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) and Essential Package of Hospital Services (EPHS). It works to improve access, reduce mortality, and strengthen healthcare systems.
