WORLD envisions a “poverty-free, empowered & democratic society in Afghanistan; which is guided by the values of equity, accountability, inclusion, and respect.”

Mission
WORLD’s mission is to “work for the development & empowerment of socio-economically disadvantaged & vulnerable people in Afghanistan and assist them in addressing their poverty-linked issues.”
This mission reflects WORLD’s core purpose, which is to actively engage in the development and empowerment of individuals and communities who are socio-economically disadvantaged and vulnerable. It focuses on addressing the root causes of poverty and the multifaceted challenges faced by these groups, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to overcome their unique issues.
